Coaches vs. Cancer

Excited to partner with Eno Vino, a Major Sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s Coaches vs. Cancer Gala Event, which will take place this Saturday, May 4^th at the Kohl Center! Eno Vino has graciously commissioned the creation of these two paintings to be donated to the silent auction portion of the event. Each painting is a Barbara Scharpf original, and features an Opus One wine bottle that is signed by UW Badgers Basketball coach, Bo Ryan. I am so thankful to have been selected as the artist behind Eno Vino’s donation, and hope we can raise a lot of money for the fight against cancer!

This nice weather sure feels good after the winter that we had! Hope this sunshine is cheering you all up too! I’ve been truly inspired by the warm sunshine today.. So inspired that I’ve created 3 new paintings so far! Check back for pictures…

Spring has Sprung!

Hello everyone!

I have been very busy these past few weeks painting several new pieces to be displayed this month. I have two art shows going on at the moment – one at Espresso Royale (650 State Street), and the other at Firefly Coffeehouse in Oregon, WI. If you’re in the neighborhood of either one of these excellent coffee shops, stop in and check out my work

In the meantime, check out some of my newest florals! Based on this upcoming week’s weather forecast, I’d say spring has finally decided to come! I hope these new piece get you even more excited for the warm spring weather ahead!

New Watercolor Paintings

As many of you know, I just returned from a wonderful, relaxing vacation to Mexico. Although I didn’t have my usual painting materials with me, I had a blast creating new pieces with watercolors!

Before venturing into impasto painting, I often used oils or watercolor paints. It was kind of fun to go back to my original roots to play and experiment with watercolors again!

Here are some of my new paintings. As always, I would love to hear any feedback you have – good or bad!
